Elba Damast (Venezuela/American 1944-2005)  was a renowned Latin American artist whose work was exhibited in galleries and museums around the world.  In the late 80s and through the 90s she was was known for her paintings in which the outline of houses were seemingly etched into the environment of the canvas.  A rare find from a rare and provocative artist.
